We define "personal identifiable information" to mean any information that may be used to identify an individual. This includes first name, last name, physical address, email address, and any other contact information. All personal identifiable information is kept confidential from the general public and non-members of the organization, unless it has been provided for publishing.

Benefits of Members and Friends of the DAISY Consortium
The DAISY Consortium is an open and transparent standards organization. We welcome public comment on the DAISY/NISO (Z3986) standard and allow anyone to submit issues regarding this standard to our Advisory Committee through our Web site. The email address of the individual making the submission is posted on the Z3986 standards issues page of the Web site to facilitate communication regarding the submitted issue.
Members and Friends of the Consortium may log in to our secure Web site and view contact information of other Members and Friends. We wish to encourage our Members and Friends to communicate freely.
DAISY Members may also join mailing lists and working groups for communication and dissemination of information. Contact information for these lists is not publicly available, and a roster of list members may only be obtained by request from the list administrator. Recipients of such lists agree to keep list membership and contact information confidential.
